The resolution was imminent, and there was only one thing left to do: to fear. This was the new media terrorism of the modern age; it wasn’t bombs or misiles anymore but plagues orchestrated through the communication medium. From the most precocious twitter-er to the classic Sunday reader of the written press all became victims of this black plague.
